Moving On.....Washington, DC

A lot has happened since my last blog entry. I was finishing up my MSLIS from Syracuse University this summer. My last class ended in August, 2006. I was also offered a position with a government agency in the metro DC area as a Digital Librarian.

I accepted the job, packed up my wonderful apartment in Atlanta, and moved to Washington, DC. I live in Foggy Bottom, which is walking distance to EVERYWHERE! Close to the WaterGate, Kennedy Center, George Washington University, Georgetown, the Waterfront (Washington Harbour), and Dupont Circle.

So far the job has been very exciting, and moving to Washington, DC has been a very good move for me, professionally. I look forward to a new life and new career here, and hope to take advantage of many opportunities now and in the months to come.
